Prescription Drug Plan Research (Part D)

Choosing a Medicare drug plan shouldn’t be guesswork. With dozens of options available in Arkansas, the wrong choice can mean higher costs or missed coverage for the prescriptions you rely on. That’s why we research drug plans based on your specific medications—not just what’s cheapest on paper.

Whether you’re new to Medicare or reviewing coverage during Open Enrollment, we help seniors in Springdale, Fayetteville, Rogers & nearby towns understand their options clearly and confidently.

We Compare Drug Plans So You Don’t Have To

Medicare Part D covers prescription drugs through private insurance companies. But with every plan having different premiums, formularies, pharmacies, and rules, it’s easy to choose one that doesn’t actually fit your needs. We take the time to review your medications, check what’s covered, and help you avoid those “surprise” costs that catch so many seniors off guard.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need a drug plan if I don’t take any medications?

Yes. Medicare charges a late enrollment penalty if you go without drug coverage for too long—even if you don’t currently take any medications. A low-cost plan can help you avoid that penalty.

  • Are all Medicare drug plans the same?

No. Plans differ in their premiums, formularies, copays, deductibles, and pharmacy networks. That’s why it’s so important to compare based on your specific medications.

  • Can I change my drug plan each year?

Yes. You can review and switch plans during the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct 15–Dec 7). It’s a good idea to review annually because drug plans often change their formularies and pricing.

  • Does my Medicare Supplement plan include drug coverage?

No. Medigap plans do not include prescription coverage. If you have a Supplement plan, you’ll need to enroll in a standalone Medicare Part D drug plan.
